Fun in the Sun at the Yardworks Festival

Fun in the Sun at the Yardworks Festival

Last weekend I visited the Yardworks Festival in Glasgow.

This was the festival's second year, and it certainly seemed to be getting bigger and better, with lots more amazing graffiti and street art on show. The sun was shining, but it wasn't too hot, and it perfect for wandering round looking at all the work. Although I was there on the Sunday (the festival was also on the Saturday too), quite a few of the pieces were still works in progress, so I'll hopefully get a chance to pop back in the next few weeks to see them finished. Here are some of my favs.

I also spotted this brick. I think that it says 'Steven.s London-Road Patent'. I loved that even though there were layers and layers of paint on it, the letters were still managing to show through. When I walked past an hour later, the wall had been painted black, ready for the next artist. And so it continues!

I'll definitely be visiting the festival again next year. Fingers crossed for more sun!
